Getting to Oslo

Oslo is accessible from all over the world. Oslo’s main airport OSL Gardermoen has direct flights to 112 international airports, and major Airlines and low-cost airlines have daily non-stop flights from major cities inside and outside of Europe.

Direct and efficient

OSL has been awarded Europe’s most efficient airport. Oslo Airport Gardermoen (OSL) is one of the most modern airports in Europe. In 2016, OSL served 25,8 million travellers. With the high-speed Airport Express Train “Flytoget” the airport is linked to the city centre in 19 minutes. The Airport Express Bus stops right outside the PLAIN 2019 conference venue, Radisson Blu in the city centre. 

Visa requirements

Citizens of Schengen countries may enter Norway freely. Nationals of countries with a visa waiver may stay in Norway for up to 90 days, including amongst others: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, UK and USA.
