With a population close to 700 000, Oslo is a cosmopolitan hub with an abundance of world-class museums, restaurants and art. Still the city maintains the relaxed atmosphere of a much smaller town. The compact city centre is easily explored on foot or by bike, and has an efficient public transport system.

The political climate in Norway is stable. Oslo is located in a quiet corner of the world, and Norway’s crime rates are among the lowest in Europe.
